Spring Offensive are a rather wonderful 5 piece from Oxford. Many a comparison to the likes of Mew, Jenniferever, The Appleseed Cast etc can be made. However all of them would be rather far off the mark. They take all the best parts of these bands and put them together to sound magnificent. Etheral guitar lines and chorus'd vocals, beautiful arrangements and song structures, a fantastic rhythm section and lyrics which are obscure odes to everything and nothing at all. This is beautiful music for everyone to enjoy. I was stood dumbfounded when I saw them. You will be too.
